01
Join Our Team

NeonNeuron Technologies Ltd. is building a multi-tenant workspace platform that brings structure, clarity, and accessibility to team collaboration. We are headquartered in 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, United Kingdom, IP28 7DE, and we are in the early stages of building our company and our team.

Joining NeonNeuron at this stage means you will not be filling a predefined role in an established organization. You will be helping to define what this company becomes. Every member of our founding team has direct influence on the product, the technology decisions, the processes we adopt, and the culture we build. This is an opportunity for people who want ownership and impact — not just a job title.

We are looking for people who are self-motivated, technically capable, and genuinely interested in building software that helps teams work better. You do not need a specific degree, a prestigious resume, or ten years of experience. What matters is your ability to do the work, your willingness to learn, and your alignment with our mission.

02
Why NeonNeuron

There are many places to work in technology. Here is what makes NeonNeuron different as a workplace:

  • Ground-Floor Opportunity — You are joining a company at its earliest stage. The decisions made now will shape the product, the architecture, and the organization for years to come. Early team members have an outsized impact on everything we build.
  • Real Product, Real Users — NeonNeuron is not a theoretical project or a concept in search of a market. We are building a working platform that solves a real problem — fragmented team collaboration — with a clear product vision and defined feature set.
  • Full-Stack Exposure — Because we are a small team, everyone works across the stack. You will not be siloed into a narrow area. Whether it is backend API design, frontend interface work, database architecture, or deployment infrastructure, you will gain experience across the entire system.
  • Direct Impact — In a small team, there are no layers between your work and the product. The code you write ships. The designs you create go live. The suggestions you make get implemented. Your contribution is visible and meaningful.
  • Honest Work Environment — We value straightforward communication, realistic expectations, and sustainable work practices. We do not glorify overwork, and we do not set artificial deadlines to create pressure. We work hard because we care about what we are building, not because someone is watching the clock.

03
Our Culture

Our culture is still forming — which is exactly the point. As a founding team member, you help define it. That said, there are a few principles that guide how we work together today:

  • Ownership Over Tasks — We do not assign tickets and track hours. We define problems, agree on solutions, and trust each other to deliver. If you see something that needs fixing, you fix it. If you have an idea for improvement, you bring it up.
  • Quality Over Speed — We ship regularly, but we do not ship carelessly. Clean code, thoughtful architecture, and well-designed interfaces are not luxuries — they are requirements. We would rather take an extra day to do something right than rush something that needs to be rebuilt later.
  • Transparency — Everyone on the team has visibility into company decisions, product direction, financial status, and strategic priorities. There are no information silos. If something affects the team, the team knows about it.
  • Continuous Learning — Technology moves quickly, and we expect everyone to keep learning. Whether it is a new framework, a better approach to a problem, or a deeper understanding of our users, learning is part of the job — not something you do in your spare time.
  • Respect and Directness — We give honest feedback because we respect each other enough to be straightforward. Disagreement is expected and welcome — what matters is that we discuss ideas on their merits and reach decisions together.

Open Positions

We are building our founding team. The following positions represent the roles we are looking to fill as we grow. All positions are currently marked as "Coming Soon" — we are preparing our hiring process and will begin accepting applications shortly. If you are interested in any of these roles, we encourage you to reach out early at admin@neonneuron.online.

Full Stack Developer — Coming Soon

We are looking for a developer who is comfortable working across the entire stack — from backend API development with Node.js and Express to frontend interface implementation with Vanilla JavaScript. You will work directly with Firebase and Firestore, build and maintain RESTful APIs, implement real-time features, and contribute to the overall system architecture. Experience with multi-tenant application design, authentication systems, and cloud deployment (Vercel) is valued. This role requires someone who writes clean, maintainable code and can make sound architectural decisions independently.

Frontend Engineer — Coming Soon

We need a frontend engineer who can build responsive, performant user interfaces using Vanilla JavaScript and modern CSS. Our platform does not rely on heavy frameworks — we build custom components and manage state directly. You will work on workspace dashboards, real-time messaging interfaces, project tracking views, and administrative panels. Strong skills in HTML, CSS (including custom properties and responsive design), JavaScript (ES6+), and DOM manipulation are essential. An eye for clean, functional design and attention to accessibility are important.

Product Designer — Coming Soon

We are looking for a product designer who can translate complex workspace management workflows into intuitive, clean interfaces. You will design user flows for workspace creation, team management, project tracking, channel communication, and role-based access control. This role requires proficiency in design tools (Figma or similar), a strong understanding of information architecture, and the ability to design for dark-themed interfaces. You should be comfortable working closely with developers and iterating based on real user feedback rather than assumptions.

DevOps Engineer — Coming Soon

We need someone to own our deployment infrastructure, monitoring, and operational reliability. You will manage our Vercel deployment pipeline, configure Firebase services, set up monitoring and alerting, optimize application performance, and establish CI/CD workflows. Experience with Node.js deployment, serverless architectures, Firebase/Google Cloud Platform, and automated testing pipelines is important. This role also involves planning for scale — ensuring our multi-tenant architecture can grow efficiently as our user base expands.

Customer Success Specialist — Coming Soon

As our first customer-facing hire, you will be responsible for onboarding new organizations onto the platform, providing email-based support, creating help documentation, and gathering user feedback to inform product development. You should have excellent written communication skills, a genuine interest in helping people solve problems, and enough technical understanding to explain platform features and troubleshoot common issues. Experience with SaaS products, workspace tools, or team collaboration platforms is a strong plus.

05
Benefits & Perks

As an early-stage company, our benefits package is evolving. Here is what we offer today, with plans to expand as the company grows:

  • Competitive Compensation — We offer fair, market-aligned compensation for all roles. Exact figures depend on the position, experience level, and location.
  • Flexible Work Arrangement — We support remote work and flexible hours. What matters is the quality and consistency of your output, not where or when you sit at a desk. Core collaboration hours are maintained for team alignment.
  • Founding Team Recognition — Early team members are recognized as founding contributors to the company. As we grow, this early involvement will be reflected in expanded responsibilities, leadership opportunities, and growth potential.
  • Learning Budget — We support continuous learning through access to courses, books, tools, and resources relevant to your role and growth areas.
  • Hardware & Tools — We provide the hardware and software tools you need to do your best work. If you need a specific IDE, service, or piece of equipment, we will make it available.
  • No Bureaucracy — We do not have layers of approval processes, unnecessary meetings, or corporate overhead. You spend your time doing meaningful work, not navigating organizational complexity.
  • Direct Product Impact — Every team member has a voice in product decisions. Your ideas and feedback shape the platform — this is not a perk, it is how we operate.

06
How to Apply

Our application process is simple and respectful of your time. We do not believe in multi-round interview marathons or abstract whiteboard puzzles. Here is how it works:

  • Step 1: Email Us — Send an email to admin@neonneuron.online with the subject line "Application — [Position Name]". Include your resume or a link to your portfolio/GitHub profile, a brief introduction about yourself, and why you are interested in NeonNeuron specifically.
  • Step 2: Review — We review every application personally. If your background and interests align with what we are looking for, we will reach out within 5 to 7 business days to schedule a conversation.
  • Step 3: Conversation — We have a straightforward conversation about your experience, your approach to work, and what you are looking for. This is not an interrogation — it is a mutual evaluation to see if there is a good fit.
  • Step 4: Practical Assessment — For technical roles, we may ask you to complete a small, practical task that reflects the actual work you would do at NeonNeuron. We respect your time — assessments are scoped to take no more than a few hours.
  • Step 5: Decision — We make hiring decisions quickly. If we decide to move forward, we will present an offer with clear terms. If not, we will provide honest feedback on why.

What We Look For

Beyond technical skills specific to each role, we look for the following qualities in every candidate:

  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently without constant direction
  • Clear, honest communication — both written and verbal
  • A genuine interest in building products that help teams work better
  • Willingness to work across boundaries and take on tasks outside your primary role when needed
  • A growth mindset — you are always learning, improving, and open to feedback
